Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha.

Why can't I be happy like Kagome?

She has the most perfect relationship with Inuyasha, while I have a dumb ass pervert who can't keep his hands off of me and eyes off of other girls.

Don't get me wrong: I think Miroku is a thousand times better looking than Inuyasha, but at least Inuyasha is a little more kind and romantic. I so badly want to be the only girl Miroku wants. My heart feels like it's melting into nothing when I see him asking a woman to bare his children. I do know he is partially joking, and the girl will obviously say no, but I only want him to ask me this question. Even though I deny that I hate when he is pervert towards me outwardly, I secretly love the attention on the inside.

I know underneath all that lecher is a good person. I know he can be a romantic, sweet, loving guy. I want to see that side of him more often.

I am sitting on the side of the hill with Kirara, waiting for Miroku to return from his trip with Hachi. I'm watching Kagome and Inuyasha together. He is nuzzling her neck and telling her that he loves her more than once. I am happy for Kagome, but I want that kind of love too.

Meeting Miroku was the best thing that ever happened to me, but falling in love with him was even better. I want him to love me back, but he is too much of a womanizer for a complicated concept like love.

"Please Miroku, love me. I love you so much that it hurts. You are the most beautiful person to me, and I don't want to lose you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Please, can I be the one to bare your children?" Sango said aloud to nobody in particular. She sat looking up at the sky for a while longer, almost as if waiting to hear an answer.

"Well, come on, Kirara. Let's go fly. I can't stand looking at Inuyasha and Kagome's lovey-dovey stuff anymore," said Sango as she got up on the newly transformed demon. Kirara howled before departing for the sky.

Little did Sango know, there was a figure hiding not far away to eavesdrop. Miroku stood up from his hiding place, walking to the place Sango and Kirara had just departed from. He watched her form get smaller and smaller as she rode farther away. He smiled with a dark blush on his face.

"I love you too, Sango. More than you will ever know..."

Yay for new story! I know this is short, but quality over quantity! I hoped you liked it! Please review!
