So me and my dad thought of this while watching Red Dawn and thought that it was hilarious and would make a good one shot story. since i will be skipping some parts,just the major parts of the story of i will not skip.
It was Gales first reaping and he was terrified. After he got his blood taken from some peacekeeper he went to his age group in the boy section. When a crazy Capitol women comes on the stage with what looks like a dead colorful animal on her shoulders she goes to the girls bowl first and pulls the unlucky name out."Hermione Granger!" Some guy in the crowd shouts that she is not here cause she went to some school called Hogwarts? So she picks another name."Pepper Potts!" The blond skinny girl walk on the stage and i instantly know who she is. A lot of people talk about her saying she is the smartest girl in all the districts. Next is the boys and i start to sweat bullets. "Gale Hawthorne!" I start to walk on to the stage until a lighting strikes on the stage And a mysterious man that looks some what like me shouts "I volunteer!" He has a very deep accent that scares the living crap out of everyone except me. His voice is some what comforting like a brothers. People are trying to figure out if he is allowed to volunteer or not until the crazy Capitol lady says "why the heck not!" The Capitol lady ask him what his name is and he says "I am Thor son of Odin"They make him drop his hammer since he can not have it in the games.
They go off to the Capitol and Thor is very quiet until Haymitch tells him he has some real guts to come out of the sky and volunteer. All Thor says is "I need my hammer" Haymitch responds by saying "And why do you need your hammer?" "Because it si the strongest weapon anyone could have in these 'games' you humans talk about".
