Draco Malfoy sat alone near the lake. He looked at the stars and sighed.
"Will he ever know?"
No more talk of darkness,
"Will you ever notice me as something more? More than a soul that needs to be saved from the darkness?"
Forget these wide-eyed fears,
"Will you ever let your guard down? Don't worry. I know you can't. What's even worse, I know why. You can't forget, you can't not worry. If you don't you won't survive. Will you make me an exception?"
I'm here, nothing can harm you,
"Will you ever trust me? I know it's hard. They've all lost faith in me, but you. Will you trust me?"
My words will warm and calm you.
"Will you ever let me near you? We can help each other. I can heal your wounds as you've healed mine. Will you let me?"
Let me be your freedom, let daylight dry your tears,
"Will you ever be able to let go? Or will forever darkness claim you? I can be your refuge. I can be your freedom. I can be your haven. Will you let me?"
I'm here. With you beside me,
"Will you ever know that we're together? And that no matter how far apart, in hearts we're always joint. Will you realise before it's too late?"
To guard you and to guide you...
"Will you ever realise how much you mean to me? You'll never know all that I've done to protect you. I'll be satisfied if only you will follow my subtle hints to safety. Will you follow?"
Say you love me every moment
"Will you ever say the words I wish to hear? I know you won't, but I'll be happy in the knowledge that YOU know. I love you every moment. Will you ever know that?
Turn my head with thoughts of Summer time.
"Will you ever come back? Now you think that you're not needed. But that's not true. I need you to bring joy back in to my life. Awaken the sleeping dragon from his slumber, so that he'll face the light again. Will you come?"
Say you want me with you now and always
"Will you ever say that? Say that I have found my home. Say that I'll be in your arms and heart forever. Will you says that?
Promise me all you say is true
"Will you ever swear up on your honour? Swear to me as I've seen done before. Bring me that sweet promise from your lips. The promise of eternity. Will you swear to me?"
That's all I ask of you.
"Will you ever hear my plea? Perhaps some day I'll get the courage to confront you. Perhaps one day the mask will slip. Will you listen?"
Let me be your light
"Will you ever let me light your darkness? Let me fight the demons for your soul. Will you let me help you?"
You're safe
"Will you ever know how much I had to give up? My life, my dreams, my self. All in the hope that you'll be safe. Will you ever know that?"
No one will find you
"Will you ever let down your guard. No one will know. No one, save me. But it doesn't matter. I know where you are. I know who you are - deep, deep inside. Will you know that I know?"
Your fears are far behind you
"Will you ever trust after so many years of mistrust? How can you, you've always had so much to fear. And yet you never did, because all your fear was always with me. Will you trust me?"
All I want is freedom
"Will you ever know what I want? Perhaps some day you'll even care. But now. perhaps freedom is all I have. Will you know I wanted more?"
And you always beside me
"Will you ever know I wanted you? Nothing more. Will you know that?"
Say you love me
"Will you ever say that? Will you ever feel that? Will you ever say that, even if you don't feel the same? Say you love me Harry. That's all I ask of you. Say you love me, and me life will be complete."
