Author's note: You see what I just did? I kept saying rhyming pisses me off (because it usually doesn't come easily at all) and then my brain goes running along and transforms that statement into a LIE. Well, half-lie, since it doesn't all rhyme...
I should be used to it by now, actually. Heh.
Anyway. This is a post-2x25 poem in Chuck's POV. I'm particularly giddy at the idea that we have three months to produce fluffness to our heart's content :)
SELFISH MISTAKE
Just another mistake
But oh, this one's so sweet
Lowered and maybe killed the stakes
Now blood runs so hot and deep
Down this cloudy precipice
Can't run, can't lie
Shades have dropped and now I'm alive.
.
Truths and sighs in form of sweet lullabies
To tame a beast that lies in wait only for you
Now.
.
Truths and sighs in form of wild days and nights
Just another mistake but
Plunging roused me and I'm wont to deny selfish intents.
