It had been about 8 months since the day that Otto had betrayed him, the day that Otto had released the devil's breath, the day that aunt may have died. These past months had been really hard on Peter. He had been teaching miles how to use his powers, and he was learning fast! All of those months were made that slight bit easier by one person, MJ. MJ and Peter had recently gotten back together and it was going really well. Whenever Peter got upset or worried, MJ was there to comfort him, and at times grieve with him. They were perfect for each other, everyone could see that. That is why Peter had decided to marry her. Peter had been debating this for a while, he had decided to actually ask her because he realized that she was the one, from when he first lay eyes on her back in high school, he knew he was going to marry this woman.
Peter was just swinging through the streets of new york when MJ called him.
"Hey, Pete!" MJ said excitedly
"Hey, MJ To what do I owe the pleasure!" Peter said surprised
"Well, I just got off of work for my lunch break and was wondering if you want to grab a bite to eat with me?" MJ practically shouted at peter
"Okay MJ, Let's go to that pizza joint, Leo's I think it's called," Peter says
"Okay Pete, see you there!" MJ said
'Okay, I think I'm going to ask MJ to marry me today!'
-Later-
"That pizza was delicious!" Peter said feeling stuffed
"Yeah definitely!" Mj said
"So MJ, do you want to go somewhere a little more, romantic?" Peter questioned
"What did you have in mind 'Romeo' " MJ laughed
"it's a surprise!" Peter said
Within a few minutes, Peter and MJ were on top of the empire state building
"Oh my gosh Peter, it's beautiful up here!" MJ screamed in excitement
"Not as beautiful as you babe" Peter whispered
"Awww Peter, I love you!" MJ turns to face peter
'Okay here we go' Peter thinks to himself
When MJ turns she sees Peter on one knee with a black box in his hands
"Mary Jane Watson, would you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?"
MJ was shocked, she had the look of pure happiness on her face, and inside it was like she was going to burst out with joy, but she kept calm.
"Of course I will peter!" MJ practically shouted at peter
Peter then proceeded to put the ring on MJ and gave her a long and passionate kiss which she happily returned.
And then, of course, something 'spiderman' related had to come up. There were a group of men robbing a bank a few blocks away, so Peter changed back into his Spidey costume, and just as he was going to jump off of the building. MJ said
"Go get 'em tiger"
