Drabble: Ashes

You know, it's hard to summarize a story that's only 100 words, so why don't you just go ahead and read it? *grin* Warning: implied HPSS slash. Please review.

Ashes

Calmly, deliberately, he set fire to the bed. Then the rug in front of the fireplace. The sofa. The kitchen table.
Any place they'd made love. He scoffed mentally; it had never been love, and now, never would be.
After dispatching of most of the furniture, he moved on to destroying the other man's personal belongings.
He was soon surrounded by ashes; the vestiges of the only truly happy time in his life. He wondered how it had come to this.

Then realized it had been inevitable, really, from the moment he'd fallen in lo- gotten involved with Harry Potter.
