Eh, I was bored so I wrote this little drabble in about five minutes. It's AUish. Zelda had the child a few hours beforehand.

I might add another drabble featuring the trio if I get bored again. Please review!

And not that you care, but I was inspired to write this after having this extremely weird dream last night.

Disclaimer: I do not own The Legend of Zelda or any of its characters.

Read away!

A warm smile grew into a huge grin as she took the newborn girl into her arms. Her husband had been called away to help train the younger guards around an hour ago, leaving him with no idea of what their first child looked like.

Queen Zelda Istella Nohansen Hyrule I knew that her husband, King Link Xavier Hyrule I, would surely be wanting to be here.

If only he could be.

"Princess Zelda Istella Nohansen Hyrule II," she kissed the forehead of her daughter, watching her cuddle up against the queen's chest.

Zelda had been told once, a few months ago when she was still pregnant, that a child would instantly know her parents. Apparently, it was true.

The mother brought herself to lay on her enormous bed with her little one laying on her chest. Blue eyes never strayed from the infant, warm smiles never leaving the both. The child, surprisingly, had not cried yet. It seemed at peace, causing a kind of calmness in the older Zelda's heart.

The wide, wooden door to the room was cracked open just enough for Zelda to see Link's tired face in the doorway. He perked up when he saw their little Zellie, a lopsided grin on his tan face.

"Is this our little Zellie?" He gently disposed of his dirtied boots by the door and made his way to the bed.

His wife nodded once, though there was no use. It was quite obvious that this newly-born baby girl was theirs.

Link gently rubbed the baby's back and caressed its tiny head.

He met eyes with his wife, "She's beautiful, love."
