Forever and Always
Homecoming dance. The first dance of the year. So far, so good. Big fun, little drama. "Arianna!" Wow. Thanks dude for losing my track of thought. I turn around to see Bryan half running down the hallway. "Arianna, there's someone in the gym that wants to dance with you." "Ok and where might they be?" I ask. He was huffing by now. "Bleachers. But hurry, they might have moved."
I jog towards the gym. As I walk through the entryway, I notice the bleachers right away. Four people. " Ok, this may not be too hard to do", I think to myself. "Oh god. Brentt Joseph is up there, the boy I have longed for since he moved here." I walk away for a minute and dance with my friends to get the feeling off me, but came back after the song had ended. Same people. Thank god. I could eliminate one person; a girl. Three left. I look over at Brentt. He's staring at me. Then, after a long period of staring at each other, he finally realizes I've noticed him, gives me a quick smile, and turns away. God, I hope it's him. He's just so cute. No one really knows about him. He's still pretty new here. No one knows he's got my heart.
I walk back to my friends, grab my best friend , Lo, and start dancing like there's no tomorrow, acting like complete fools. As we dance, I think to myself, " Is Brentt the one who wants to dance with me? What if it is him? What will happen if it is him?"
