Jack slammed the door and sank down in his bed, correction their bed. He and Mark moved in together after four months. He let tears fall down his pale cheeks and he thought about the fight he had. Jack had spilt coffee on Mark's computer on accident. Mark had freaked out on Jack and flipped a chair. Jack had apologized many times but Mark had failed to accept. So there Jack laid, regretting everything. He knew what would happen next but still waited calmly. Then, he heard a familiar string of chords be played by guitar.

" Are you lonesome tonight, do you miss me tonight? Are you sorry we drifted apart? Does your memory stray to a brighter sunny day. When I kissed you and called you sweetheart? Do the chairs in your parlor seem empty and bare? Do you gaze at your doorstep and picture me there? Is your heart filled with pain, shall I come back again? Tell me dear, are you lonesome tonight?" Mark sang from behind the doorway. Jack lifted his head up and wiped the tears away.

He waited for Mark to say the words, the verse of the song that Jack grew to love. The way he changed the words to match the situation was astounding. The first fight they had Mark had sung that song, Jack had ran into his arms and forgave him. And till this day, every time Jack was upset with Mark he would run into his room and shut the door. Mark would come along as his knight in shinning armor and sing that one song and all would be forgotten.

" I wonder if, your lonesome tonight. You know someone said that the world's a stage And each must play a part. Fate had me playing in love you as my sweet heart. Act one was when we met, I loved you at first glance You read your line so cleverly and never missed a cue Then came act two, you seemed to blossom and you acted cocky And why I'll always know. Honey, you lied when you said you hated me. And I had every cause to doubt you. But I'd rather go on

hearing our fights, Than go on living without you. Now the stage is bare and I'm standing there

With emptiness all around And if you won't come open the door, Then make them bring the curtain down."

Jack walked up to the door and opened it. Mark had his arms opened wide, his guitar at his feet. Jack leaped into his arms and began weeping.

" Is your heart filled with pain, shall I come back again? Tell me dear, are you lonesome tonight? I'm sorry for overreacting Sean, I shouldn't have yelled and flipped the chair. Do you forgive me?" Mark said hugging his boyfriend.

" Of course I do Mark and it was my fault for dropping the cup. And I'm not lonesome anymore thanks to you." Jack said sniffing. " Wait... Did you say I got cocky?"

Mark grabbed his guitar. "You read your line so cleverly and never missed a cue Then came act two, you seemed to blossom and you acted cute And why I'll always know."

"There!" Jack said laughing.

Mark played a new chord. Jack looked at him before he got on one knee. Jack gasped and his blue eyes grew wide.

"Now the stage is bare and I'm standing there With emptiness all around And if you marry me, Then we will never be lonesome for the rest of our lives. Sean, I love you more than life itself. If I spend anymore time without you, then they can bring the curtain down."

" Yes Mark! Oh my god yes!" Jack said kissing Mark.

" Is your heart filled with pain, shall I come back again? Tell me dear, are you lonesome tonight?" Mark sang to his fiancé.
