Just a quick, short little drabble I thought of in- you guessed it- the bathroom. Ah, bathrooms. Is that not where all great inventions are manifested?

Anyway, I don't own Alex Rider, and I likely never will. I get no profit from publishing this piece of cra- I mean, fanfiction story. Eh hem.

Alex Rider doesn't like the term 'insane'.

It's not like it's a bad term- just as good as all the other words in the dictionary. But he just doesn't like it.

He doesn't like the way that others use it so callously.

"Alex, you're insane, man!" Tom.

He doesn't like the way others claim to be it.

"Alex, I think I'm going mad from this." Jack.
He doesn't like the way some people really are.

"Alex, I love you, be mine." Nikolei Drevin.

He doesn't like the way some people think he is.

"Alex, I'll be home next week- just in time for your birthday." Ian.

He doesn't like the spelling, wording, whatever it's called, either. Insane. In-sane. In-sane. It's like sanity is a place to be, and you're in it, except you're not. He doesn't like the way that in-sane isn't the same as in-lucid, or in-rationality. He thinks in-sane shouldn't be that, it should be un-sane, or at the very least, not sane.

But worst of all, Alex Rider hates being insane.

Reveiw, please? I'd enjoy it immensely, and it'd MAYBE make me wanna fix my apostrophe's Best Friend to Work~ ^^
