Everyone knew that a high strung guardian was a force to be reckoned with. When they're in their element, they're better left alone. North wasn't really jolly at all during Christmas. When it got dark, Tooth was lost to everything unrelated to her work. But worst of all, was Bunnymund. When it came to the month that surrounded Easter, he hardly left his warren at all. But this year, he had a big distraction named Jack frost, who thought it was hysterical to watch the pooka slave over the eggs and become so over excited and stressed at his presence. No one really payed mind to it but Tooth, who thought it was just plain cruel of Jack to sit atop the golems and poke fun at Bunnymund while he worked. She soon decided that she would teach Jack a lesson about respecting his elders. Soon, she had a potion and a plan.

The night after Easter, bunny was still fast asleep. He was understandably exsaughted, and Jack hadn't left the foot of his bed since the beginning of the afternoon. He always got concerned when bunny slept for long periods of time like this. But it wasn't long before his eyes started to droop and he laid his head down to sleep there, at the foot of the bed.

Tooth slipped into the room, a smile on her face to see the two sleeping so peacefully, brushing a hand over Jack's shoulder absently to clear it of the snow that had accumulated there before gently plucking a hair from his head. He flinched, but didn't wake. She did the same for Bunny, then turned to the tray she had brought into the room and slipped the hairs into their proper mugs (that contained the potion-disguised as hot chocolate for bunnymund and iced coffee (decaf, of coarse) for Jack) and shook Jack awake gently. "Hey sleepyhead. I brought you something." She said, handing him his mug. He grinned a tried grin and stretched before taking it. "Thanks." She then touched Bunny's shoulder gently, shaking him as well. He was harder to wake, and when he did, he drank his and went straight back to sleep. "He's really beat, isn't he?" " Don't worry. He dose this every year. Last year, he slept for three days straight." She said with a fond smile, casting a blanket over the pooka and kissing his nose gently before turning back to Jack. "You should sleep too." "I'm not tired." She sat beside him, holding his hand for a moment before kissing his forehead and making him lay down. "Sleep. I'll see you tomorrow."

Bunnymund sat up and yawned, stretching and mumbling to himself, "That was one well deserved nap." Then, he was jumped on by a small creature. "Bunny! You're awake!" He heard Jack's voice, yet there was no Jack to be seen. Only a pure white rabbit sitting on his chest. " Oh, who have we here?" He cooed at it, his half asleep mind not registering anything out of the ordinary. "It's me! Stupid Kangaroo!" He cocked his head. Did that bunny just... speak to him? It took another thirty seconds to realize what was happening, and only five for him to fall off the bed, clutching his sides and laughing until his face was bright red. "It's not funny!" Jack squeaked, hopping up and down on the bed and creating a small patch of ice where he landed. "Just take a look in the mirror!" He gave a small snort, laughing for a few more minutes before standing and walking to the full length mirror. Then his laughing automatically ceased. In the mirror stood a man he had never seen before.

okay, first ROTG fic. Should I continue with it?
