Pillows

He knew for a fact that if the young, dark haired woman he was currently waiting for could only have one word to describe her, it would, without a doubt, be capricious. He didn't mean that in a mean gesture, as he was very fond of her.

From where he sat on the long couch, the very faint sound of feminine humming reached his ears. Pietro perked up, his silver blue eyes landing in the small girl approaching the main room with a calm expression resting innocently on her face. Pink lips were curved upwards in a pleasant smile as a tiny hop invaded her steps.

"Good morning, Pietro!" She called and gave him an affectionate pat against his shoulder as she made her way past where he sat. Her good mood could only be figured from none of their housemates being awake yet. Those that were most likely were still in their rooms trying to ignore the fact the sun was out. "Sleep well?" She asked him as she came back into the room, hopping over the back of the couch to fall against him.

"Just fine," he responded, slinking into a more relaxed position against her. By all means his rest would improve tenfold if he had her tucked to his side. He didn't say that outloud, but instead he set his arm around her shoulders. "And yourself?"

A faint blush dusted across her cheeks when he pulled her closer against him. Remembering he had asked her something, she crossed her arms and rested her head against his chest. "Oh it was almost perfect," Kagome responded, a bit brisk and sharp. A little too so, at that. Pietro watched as pretty sapphire blue eyes narrowed at the figure entering the room.

"Morning, kiddos." Tony yawned as he greeted the two younger individuals resting on the couch. A sly grin creeped onto his face at catching Kagome's attention on him, and he stalked over to the pair. "What's wrong, sweetcheeks?" He asked, a laugh entering his voice, "get up on the wrong side of the bed? I keep telling you that problem wouldn't keep happening if you had someone occupying the other side."

A noise came from the back of her throat, almost as if she was biting back a growl. Her eyebrow ticked in annoyance when Tony leaned behind her and placed his lips to her cheek in a kiss with obvious intentions to annoy her.

"I woke up on the right side of my bed," she assured him. It soon became apparent to Pietro that she was just barely holding back from punching him in his throat. Her hands tightened into pretty little fists, and he was more than prepared to reel back to avoid being in her hitting range.

"So, perhaps you need a boyfriend?" He continued, thoroughly enjoying the way she tried to ignore him, "or girlfriend if you swing that way. Who knows, Nat or Wanda might go for you."

"Sexual tension is not an issue for me, nor are relationships a priority." Kagome shot down his attempts to get her riled up, as he normally would. This caught Pietro's attention, as normally she would just punch him or threaten to beat him with his coffee table until he left her be.

"What's wrong then?" He cracked a smile, "didn't sleep good?"

"My sleep was fine," she bit out through clenched teeth.

"Really?" Tony sounded shocked by this, "I don't see how with your lights always coming on. Not to mention you throwing stuff, and-"

"I CAN'T DO THIS!" Kagome screamed as she stood up, taking a chunky pillow from the other side of Pietro and slamming Tony in the face with it. She hit him multiple times, each one harder, until she eventually pulled him over onto the couch. People came running in, two of them looking smug.

"I knew you couldn't do it." Natasha laughed, doubling over slightly at the sight that greeted her.

Kagome threw the pillow across the room, it shattering a vase on the other side. She climbed onto the couch, stepping on Tony's stomach, as she hopped onto the floor behind it.

"Do you know what he did last night?" She pointed towards Tony with an almost desperate whine. "Do you!?"

She was met with stunned expressions from her companions, and she continued anyway.

"All night, every fucking thirty minutes or so, this jackass would saunter into my room, flick my damn lights on, and dart out like he was Harry Fucking Houdini!"

"Cap, she said a naughty word." Tony held his hand up from the couch, yelping when Kagome snatched it and bent it backwards in anger.

"It would seem that you have lost the bet, Kagome." Wanda said, a small smile on her face. Kagome's face fell at this, and she turned back towards Tony. For a moment everyone thought that she would continue injuring him. They watched, somewhat tense, as she took a few deep breaths before slowly turning and walking away. It was silent for a few seconds before Tony's voice piped up again.

"Knew she wouldn't do it."

It got so quiet one could hear a hairpin hit the floor. The sound of knuckles cracking followed next.

"That's it." Kagome hissed and turned on her heel, jumping and diving over the couch. A shriek came from Tony, and the others watched on.

"Bet?" Steve looked at Natasha, "what bet?"

"Just a bet between us girls." She looked with a smirk at the sight of Tony being smothered by a lumpy pillow of his own couch. "And Kagome lost."

"Ugh, betting on her temper is weak." Clint shook his head, "it's easy money. If you want to bet with Kagome, do one that's fair."

"Weak, yes, but oh so humorous."

Panda: Penguin and I got to talking, and well, this baby happened.
Penguin: Honestly there's nothing more to it. We might add more to it, kinda like a little crack story, but we dunno yet.
