Hey!
So, two days ago, I've got "The Mark of Athena" and I have finished it yesterday, which made me crying like an idiot.
Well, this is a short oneshot about Annabeth and Percy, find themselves alive in Tartarus.
I hope you'll like it :)
Percy opened his eyes suddenly, breathing unregullary.
He looked around, realizing where is he.
Tartarus.
Then, he remembered what was he doing here.
He felt Annabeth's hand in his own, laced their fingers together, and finally squeezed it.
After a moment, she squeezed back, which made him extremly happy and relieved.
He didn't care why or how they survived. They were together.
„Percy?" She asked quietly, and he instantly knew that she was on the wedge of tears.
He tried to sit, what happend to be really hard and painful, but he finally managed to do it, crawling closer to her.
She was still lying, holding his hand.
Percy sat beside her, and he put her golden hair behind her ear.
She slowly sat herself up, grimacing and sniffing.
Their eyes met, and Annabeth instanly fell on his arms, sobbing.
He wrapped his arms around her, kissing the top of her head.
Thirty minutes later, they had moved theirselves next to one of the rocks.
Percy leaned against it, and Annabeth laid her her head on his chest, putting her legs on his tighs.
„It's all my fault." She whispered.
„Don's say that. It's not." He replied.
„What if we'll never get out of here?" His girlfriend asked weakly.
Percy raised her chin, forcing her to look at him.
„We're not staying here, okay? I'm going, to get you out of here, no matter how hard it'll be."
A tear rolled down her cheek, and he kissed her softly.
When they pulled away, she put her head on his chest again.
„We're together." She whispered.
„Remember? You jump, I jump." He replied quietly. „You're all I have."
I would LOVE to see your opinion, so please, give me a review!
