"I'm sorry, what?" Mako said as he paused from washing dishes and looked at Korra who was sitting on the counter beside him.
Korra rolled her eyes at him. "I wanna play this game called 'Too Hot'." She smiled at him with an innocent look on her face as she swung her feet back and forth.
"Do you even know what it is exactly?" Mako asked, raising an eyebrow at his girlfriend, reminding her how naive she can be sometimes when learning about stuff while walking around the city.
The last Republic City custom that Korra learned about was something called the 'Three Month Rule', and it lead to her leaving behind her Water Tribe morals and going along with it. Mako knew she wanted to understand how people their age acted in relationships just so he could feel comfortable with being with her since dating in the water tribes were so much different than in Republic City.
"Not really." Korra admitted with a shrug. "I just heard some girls talking about it when I was running some errands for Pema yesterday. When one of them said that her and her boyfriend had fun playing it, I figure I would see if you want to play it. What ever it is."
Mako shook his head with a small smile on his face as he dried his hands. "Korra, 'Too Hot' is basically like that stupid three month rule you asked about a while back. It's a behind closed doors kind of game." He explained as simply as he could as he looked at Korra.
"How do you know?" Korra asked, truly curious.
Mako rested his hip against the counter of the sink and crossed his arms. "I learned a lot of things that I wish I didn't when I was fifteen." He said as he looked away with a guilty look on his face.
Korra reached her hand out and touched his cheek, turning his head to face her. "You're so damaged." She said with a gentle smile. She then hoped off the counter when Mako returned her smile. "But with that put aside, I still want to play."
