So, I wrote a Destiel one-shot that kinda sucks, but whatever.

I hope you enjoy!

Sometimes Dean did so very well at hiding his feelings. Some days, it was almost hard for even Sam to tell. If he didn't know any better he might assume that he'd been wrong about Dean's feelings all along.

Almost.

However, Sam did know better. He knew exactly what his brother's feelings were, probably better than Dean did. And recently Dean had been being so stubborn about it that Sam was almost ready to give up.

Almost.

Dean was sat at the table, a beer dangling from his fingers. Sam's focus was on his laptop, his fingers clicking away as he researched for their next case. Well, his eyes were on research, but his mind was on Dean. He had to say something. He'd already tried every method but the direct one.

"Dean?" he said.

"You find anything?" Dean asked, looking up from his drink.

Sam took a deep breath. "No." he replied. "But we need to talk."

Dean look slightly concerned. "About what?"

"About Cas."

Sam noticed Dean tense considerably at the mention of the angel.

"What about him?" Dean's voice was gruff and he spoke harshly.

Sam took a moment to chose his next words carefully. "I think..." he trailed off.

Dean raised an eyebrow, annoyance evident on his face. "You think what, Sammy?"

Sam swallowed.

"Dean, I think-" he stopped. "I know you love Cas."

Dean rolled his eyes. "Of course I do." he said. "He's family."

"No, Dean. You know that's not what I meant." he said.

Dean sipped his beer slowly. "Then what did you mean?"

Sam shot him a hard look.

"Sam, you don't mean-" he stopped. "You're crazy."

"Dean-"

"Drop it, Sammy." Dean said, finishing his beer and standing up to get a new one.

Sam shook his head. "Look, I know you hate all this chick-flick romance crap, but you can't keep hiding your feelings like this."

"I said, drop it."

Silence fell. Deep, impenetrable silence. It could have lasted for an hour, but it was probably only a couple of minutes. Sam's mind was racing for ways to get Dean to admit his feeling, although he was feeling near defeat.

"Cas loves you too." he said in a final attempt to awaken his brother to his own feelings.

Dean looked momentarily taken aback, and Sam could literally see his brother's facade crumble. He knew the words hit home.

"How could you possibly know that?" Dean asked.
Sam shook his head. "I'm not stupid, you know." he said. "I see the way you two look at eachother when the other isn't looking. The flirting. A blind man could see the tension between you."

Dean said nothing.

As fate would have it, in that exact moment the angel in question appeared in the doorway. Sam almost laughed out loud at the expression on his brother's face.

" Cas," Dean said. "What are you doing here?"

"I just thought I'd stop by." he said. "Why? What's wrong?" He looked back and forth between the Winchester's.

"Nothing." Sam said. "But I think I should go. I have, erm, something to do."

Sam got up to leave, but not before giving Dean a warning glance. "See ya, Cas."

"Goodbye, Sam." Cas said, looking slightly perplexed.

As he left, Sam heard Dean say. "Sit down, Cas. I think we need to talk."

Sam smiled to himself.

When Sam returned later that night, he let out a yelp of horror as he found his brother and Cas in a very...awkward situation.

"On the couch guys? Really?" he gagged.

Sam thought that maybe his plan had worked a little too well.

Almost.

This is like really bad, but leave a review and tell me what YOU think.

Okay bye! 3
