A/N: I wanted to write a story based on TBS, but I didn't want to do the whole "Robbie sings to Cat and she doesn't friendzone him" thing so I was eating a chocolate cake when this idea came to me and I had to write it. *shrugs*

A/N2: English is not my main language, so forgive me for any grammar mistakes. Have fun! :)

Disclaimer: If I owned Victorious, I'd be drinking coconut milk with Sikowitz.

Yeah, he's a looker

But I really think it's guts that matter most

(All Over You – The Spill Canvas)

He didn't want to pry (yes, maybe a little part of him wanted to), but he had to see how things would turn out for Cat and that Evan fella. He helped her get rid of the wig (well, he was The Wig Master for a reason) and sighed with relief when he did so - red hair suited Cat so much better than blonde, to be honest: it matched her personality and made people notice her (and she sure deserved it). He squeezed her hand when she was about to leave, trying to reassure her that things would be okay with the gesture and waited a few minutes before leaving too. He stepped out of the bathroom* and turned around the corner to go back to The Blackbox Theater when he saw Cat and Evan talking in the middle of the hall. He hid and decided to keep an eye on them.

When Evan told her she was beautiful, his heart sunk a little bit. Tori was right, things would turn out fine for Cat and she would have a boyfriend by the end of the day and he, Robbie, would have nothing but a song about a girl and a broken heart. He was thinking about leaving when he heard Evan dumping Cat with a silly excuse ("I'm sorry but I'm really into blondes"). The redhead girl was left behind, visibly hurt and heartbroken (his heart broke along with hers). He then decided to stay and be there for her - it was his duty as a friend. But what could he possibly do or say to comfort her? Would she really want to hear him saying that it all happened for a reason? That Evan didn't really deserve her? No, definitely not. He had been on that boat a few times and hearing people say it would be okay didn't actually make things better.

He was about to give up - maybe Cat wanted to be alone for a while - when the idea suddenly struck him: he should sing her the song he had been working on (it was about her, but that was a detail he could work on later). Yes, that was definitely a good idea because music always made things better, right? He went to the Music Room to fetch the guitar and found her in The Blackbox Theater a few minutes later. Then he sang to her, pouring all his heart in it - and when he saw her giggling, he knew he was doing the right thing and felt proud of himself.

End

* Not really sure if Cat and Robbie went to the bathroom after she was attacked by Larry. Shhhhhhhh…let's pretend they did.

A/N3: Aw, Robbie. I love everything you choose to be! Oh, I know the lyrics in the beginning aren't related to the story at all BUT it inspired me to write :) And I think it somehow fits the whole situation, ya know what I mean? Ugh, I know the ending is a bitty silly, but I couldn't come up with anything better.

Cheers,

M.
