You've Got Sphere!
A/N: This is a story loosely (?) based on the fairly old movie "You've Got Mail!" you know the one with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan? I love that movie! Just light-heated RG fluff!
DISCLAIMER: I do not own the characters or setting or the concept of spheres, Square Enix does…. unfortunately…. Also I'm going to use some dialogues directly from the movie "You've got Mail!"
You've Got Sphere!
Chapter 1
"Rikku! Wake up! We're heading out to Djose soon!" Yuna cried out from the first floor of the cabin.
"I'm awake!" Rikku muffled out from her pillow. Yuna shrugged her shoulders and head out the bridge with her newly found lost love, Tidus, linked to her hip.
As soon as Rikku heard the whooshing sound of the door she popped her head out of her pillow and looked around the cabin. She looked down to make sure no one was there. Then she took out her personal comsphere. With excitement radiating from her eyes. Ever since Vegnagun was defeated, people had finally some time to waste and relax. Shinra quit the Gullwings to start his own business about the comspheres. He created this whole network called spherespace. Making it possible to exchange letters and videos. As soon as Rikku turned on the sphere she heard the mechanical voice that sounded like music to her ears "You've Got Sphere!"
She started to eagerly read what was written on her sphere
RE: Louh
Louh is my pet. He's my special extraordinary pet. He likes to deal with machine as much as I do. Although he likes to break them, I prefer to build them. He's still great at breaking them down he probably could've worked for the Machine Faction if he wants to. But he chose to be lazy and just walk around the room more than half the day. Keep it quiet though no body really knows about him. He's my little secret, I guess now it's our little secret. Don't you love Spira at this time? It makes me want to build a whole new airship. When I'm done with it would send it to you if I knew your name and your address. On the other hand, this not knowing has its charms.
Rikku giggled quietly to herself as she shut down her comsphere. 'He sounds so sweet and cute…maybe he works at the Machine Faction! What if I saw him around but never noticed him.'
Rikku clapped her hands and giggled. She was going to dress especially cute today, who knows her spherespace lover might be right under her nose.
Gippal stretched his arms above his head with a yawn as he looked back at his specially made machina.
"Hey Louh! You're the super star in this mail. I bet she's smitten by you" Gippal smirked. "Wonder how's she's like." He wondered as he stared at his blank comsphere with a genuine smile on his face.
