PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REVIEW!
THE LAST ENEMY THAT SHALL BE DESTROYED IS DEATH!

The silhouettes continued on their path, seeming to know where they were going until they reached a gate. The gate slid open at the more petite of the pair's touch, and they slipped inside. Their hands were gently intertwined and they were leaning into each other. On they walked, until they reached a marble tomb.
On it was an inscription.
Every year they would appear around the same time of night, same exact day: New Years' Eve. I watch them. It reminds me of one of my soap operas I used to love to watch. If only I could see who it was, and who they were paying their respects to. I can't help but think there must be a reason I, of all the spirits wandering heaven, have been sent to this spot, at this time.
He won't tell me, and no one else can answer my questions. I looked slowly behind me, and behind my dark red hair, I saw the house. My old house. There it was in ruins. The place I and my husband had died. The place my son had so happened to somehow survive the wrath of the Darkest wizard known to man.
The petite one-I'm guessing it's a girl-shifted closer to the boy (I think it's a boy), and I could hear nothing.
Then there was a piercing wail, not coming from around me but inside me. Somehow, as though attached to train tracks, I saw who the shadows were. It was my son. He was crying, holding tight to the girl with curly and slightly bushy brown hair. I felt my heart break. The fact that I couldn't be there for him was maddening. But someday...someday...
He will understand. I was able for the first time to send a warm breeze even in the snow to him. To let him know I was there. He whirled around, tear-tracks staining his face, and I had a sudden burst of strength, and I achieved something no spirit had ever achieved.
I spoke to him. And he heard me.
"Sweetie, it's me. I love you. You have to know i didn't want to leave."
"Mum." He thought, looking around hopefully.
"You can't see me, but I'm here. I've always been here, and I'm proud of you. You've been so brave. Now, just be brave enough to let me go,"
"But-"
"Shhh, I'm not asking you to forget about me. Let me go," The girl was eyeing him now, wondering why he had suddenly gone so deadly quiet. He comprehended her body language correctly and he squeezed her hand to reassure her that everything was OK.
Just to hear her once, to know she didn't hate him, was enough.

Well? What did you think? WE LOVE YOU LILY AND JAMES! Happy Halloween to you all and keep your wand in your hands if there is a crazy dark wizard after you! My other fics will be updated VERY soon probably between tomorrow and the day after. Thanks for reading and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REVIEW!
