The Chalet School Calendar Old Girls
Written in 2016 for a challenge by the request of Lost Spook and transplanted from livejournal
"We shouldn't be doing this." Frieda said.
"If the WI can do this, I don't see why we shouldn't." said Joey.
"It isn't as if TB is anywhere near being wiped out everywhere." Grizel added. "You're not afraid are you, Frieda?"
"I agree with Joey, we must do our best to help." Simone chipped in.
"Vi Lucy know the photographer and said she would be very professional." Mary-Lou added. "Now, do you all know which month you're meant to be?"
"Yes." said Nell. "I'm January."
"I thought I was January?" Verity said, somewhat plaintively.
"No, we swopped you with Bill. Don't you remember?" Joey said.
"It's not the nudity I mind, it's the standing up." Nell explained, positioning her walking frame ready for use in front of her chair.
"Perhaps someone had better read through the list of who shall portray each month again, now that we're all here." Frieda suggested gently. "Then we can be sure we have the right items with which to preserve our modesty."
"Rosalie has the list." Joey put in.
"Not too well preserved." Grizel said, "or people won't buy the calendar."
