AN: Hey guys! This is a really short chapter because I wanted to see if anyone would actually read this. I didn't want to spend hours on this to have it be a lost cause. Ok here it is.

"Daddy, why do I have two hearts?" I ask my father. I had gotten sick at school and my teacher took me to the nurse. I had never gotten sick before and I didn't get vaccinations like other kids. In fact I had never been to the doctors, I was born at home.

"I don't know sweetheart, why don't you ask Rose- I mean mommy?"

"Okay!" I respond to my dad. I usually don't call him daddy, I'm too old to do that anymore. I'm turning 13 in a week! I walk into the kitchen were my mom is making dinner. She's making hamburgers! Those are my favorite, but she only makes them on special occasions.

"Mom?" I ask

"Yep?" she responds

"So I got a stomachache in P.E. and I went to the nurse, and she found out I had two hearts. Why?" My mom stops dead in her tracks, like she knows something no one else in my family knows.

"Why don't you go outside and play so dad and I can have a talk" she says

"Ookkaaaayyyy" I say and go outside. Behind our shed, we have a blue police box from the 1950's, it's locked and nobody knows where the key is. When I asked what it was, my dad always told me that he saw it at a garage sale and bought it. I can hear my parents start talking so I go up to listen

"John Smith!" My mom says, she sounds angry. "Were did you put that fob watch! Right now it could determine whether this family lives or not!" She starts crying, my mom never cries, what's going on?

"I'm sorry Rose, if I would have known that watch was that important to you I wouldn't have lost it" My dad says

I can hear her storm off to keep cooking dinner, the kitchen is closer to me than when she was in the living room, so I can hear things better.

"Oh doctor, those days I could just fly away with you in the TARDIS. Then life happened." My mom mumbles under her breath. She opens the door to see me standing there with my ear to the wall. God. I'm grounded.

"C'mon Sarah, I want to show you something." She walks over to the blue box behind the shed, and pulls out a key. She unlocks the door and steps in.

"Well, aren't you coming?" She asks me.

"But Momma there isn't enough space for us in there." I state. I mean, its TINY.

"Oh trust me Sarah" There is enough space for all of London to fit in here comfortably" I walk in and see a huge room.

"You are standing in a spaceship called the TARDIS, in the control room, and you your dad and I are the last time lords in existence."
