Hey hey hey it's me Irock with my very first Adventure time fanfic but it's only a one-shot. But I am still excited to see what you guys think so now I am going to let you read the story now. P.S I don't own Adventure Time sadly or the songs that they sing.
"I don't know man, are you sure she's going to be here tonight" said a magical yellow dog
"Of course she's going to be here, Jake, she always comes here on Saturday nights" said a tall blond boy waiting in line to get into the club
"Alright, but what if she rejects you Finn, then what are you going to do then." Said the dog named Jake
"Then I am willing to stay friends, see Jake I got everything under control. So are you going to help me out or not?" said the tall blond boy named Finn
After a second, Jack sighed and agreed to help Finn with his plan. After a while they finally reached the front of the line and were let into the club. There were people everywhere, on the dance floor, at the bar, and there were even people standing by the bathrooms.
Finn and Jake decided to go find themselves a table so that Finn could tell Jake the plan for how he hopefully would win over the girl of his dreams.
As the time passed by, Finn and Jake keep a look out for the girl Finn was looking for. After a while of searching Jake caught sight of the girl. She was just making it pass the ropes; she was wearing a black tank top with faded blue ripped jeans and knee high black boots. Her long midnight black hair was shining from the multi colored lights flashing around the room. She had on ruby red lipstick that brought color to her pale blue face. The girl of Finn's dreams, Marceline the Vampire Queen.
Midnight Madness, the club that Marceline came to every Saturday night to hang out and maybe try out some new material. This was the most upbeat club in the candy kingdom everyone knew of it, even Princess Bubblegum. Only the people that love to have fun would come here or the people that love to make trouble.
At Midnight Madness anyone and everyone is allowed here. There are people of all kinds here from candy people to slim people and others from other kingdoms. Marceline was looking around the club hoping to find a place to sit when she spotted two very familiar people. She floated over the crowd and stopped in front of Finn and Jake. Then she smiled flashing her sharp and pointy fangs.
"Finn, Jake, it's a surprise to see you two here. Did PB send you to do some looking around or something?" She asked as she moved into the seat next to Finn.
"Actually we thought that it would be fun to come see what everyone has been talking about" Finn said as he tried to hide a faint blush coming slowly to his face. Even though Finn is now 18, he still has trouble with girls. He still goes on adventures and helps people whenever he is needed. His outfit over the years has changed; he now wore ripped faded blue jeans, a black shirt under a blue hoodie and he let his hair free, but his hood had a pair of bear ears on them, which he would put up from time to time.
"Well," Marceline started to talk "you picked a good day to come in." "Why is that Marceline" Jake questioned as him and Finn drew there attention toward Marceline "I decided that I was going to play a song tonight, it was hard for me to decide to play it in front of people since it's kind of personal." "Well we can't wait to hear it, I'm sure that it is going to be great, right Jake." "Of course, you're a great singer and guitar player Marcy" Jake said after looking around the club "Thanks boys you guys really helped a lot."
After that Finn, Jake and Marceline started talking about everything and nothing. It was mostly Finn and Marceline talking since every few minutes Jake would look toward the entrance of the club. Then while Finn and Marceline were in the middle of talking about how Simon use to always write Fionna and Cake fan fictions when he was the Ice King. Jake got up and started moving towards the doors to the club, a few seconds later he was back with his arm around his girlfriend, Lady Rainicorn.
"Hey Lady. What are you doing here?" Marceline asked. Lady then says some stuff in Korean which Jake translates more for Finn then Marceline "She says that she's here because I invited her to come" Marceline just nodded her head and then they were on to a new topic with everyone voicing their opinions.
Then the DJ stopped the music and made an announcement "What's up partyers young and old. It is now time for open mic, so if you want to sing a new song or do some karaoke come on up." Then the music was back on.
Finn looked at Jake and nodded his head, but Marceline and Lady didn't notice the exchanged look between the two boys. Then Marceline got up to go to the restroom and when she was gone Finn got up. "Come on Jake it's now or never" Then they got up and left but not before Jake gave Lady a kiss on the cheek.
Finn P.O.V
Now it was the time for me to tell Marceline how I feel about her. I go back and think about all the fun we had together, when she tried to help me ask out Bubblegum, when we would chase wolves together. Even the first time we met and she kicked me and Jake out of our tree house. I then caught a sight of her, the last person anyone would think I would fall for, coming from the restroom.
Then I pointed toward the DJ to let him know I was ready. Then the lights were off and the music started.
Marceline P.O.V
I return to the table with all of my friends sitting at and find that it's only Lady there. "Hey Lady where did Finn and Jake go?" I ask but before I could get a response the light go out and music starts to play.
Third Person

Music started to play throughout the club and then a single spotlight came on and landed on Jake.

He moved from his spot in front of the stage and stopped at the table where Lady and Marceline sat. He looked at Lady and stretched out his hand for her to grab. Lady takes his hand and he drags her over to the dance floor, leaving Marceline at the table by herself.

Then there's another spotlight and it's on Finn standing on the stage next to the DJ.

The crowd starts to move to the beat of the music and then everyone is dancing with someone, moving from side to side against each other.

Then after the crowd splits apart and Finn comes from the crowd walking towards a mesmerized Marceline.

Finn then stops in front of Marceline and continues to sing the song. Then he takes her hand and kisses it.

When the song finally ended, Finn stood in front of Marceline catching his breath. Marceline was at a loss for words as she just stared at Finn. Finn was scared to know what she would say, yea he told Jake that if she said no then him and Marceline could still be buds. But now he's not too sure if he could take it if she did said no.
Finn P.O.V
My heart ponded with the anticipation of waiting for Marceline to say something. I wish she would say something, anything, I just didn't want to wait any longer for an answer. "So, Marcy what did you think of the song?"
Marceline P.O.V
'I couldn't believe it. How could I have no idea that he liked me? ME! Of all people was the one that Finn the Human had a crush on, maybe even loved.' I looked up at Finn and I could see that he was waiting for an answer; I just didn't know how to tell him. "So, Marcy, what did you think of the song?" Finn asked, finally able to catch his breath. "I… It was" I was just about to answer when I was called up to the stage.
I stood up and made my way to the stage with my bass ax on my back. "Ladies and gents, Marceline is going to sing up a new song she made tonight. So let's give her a round of applause." The DJ said then placed the microphone on the stand and pulled up a stool for me to sit in.
"Sup peps it time to lay down a slow melody so find yourselves that special someone and get ready."
Third Person
Marceline was going to play the new song she just created. It was a fast moving song that got people pumped up, but as she made her way to the stage she decided to play something else. She looked at Finn as she started to play the song and before she started she spoke into the mic "Here's your answer." and the music began.

The lights dimmed as Marceline started to strum her ax guitar and she's looked at Finn to see him looking back at her. He gave her one of those heroic grins of his and she smiled back and started to sing the song.

Marceline looks at everyone dancing to her song, she even see's Jake and Lady dancing together. Then she looks at Finn and she can see the joy in his eye. The joy and happiness that it is him that captured her cold dead heart.

The crowd applauded and the lights came back on. Marceline floated over the crowd and made it back to the table where Finn sat. He stood up from his seat and pulled Marceline into him. With her feet on the ground her head rested on Finn's neck and she was frozen still by the surprise embrace.
"I'm so glad you said yes." Finn whispered, Marceline finally realized what was happening and hugged him back.
"So am I"
