"Ahhh!"
The spear ripped through the footmen as the chanter recited the 'peom'. Soon, the footmen were dead, lying around the chanter, who was seated in the middle of the deadmen. It is obvious it was a small kid, maybe 8 or 9 years old, with a long staff topped with a deadly spear.
"…falling down…falling down…" Changing the tune of his song, he looked toward the lantern in the middle of the street. The light falling uponhim showed a kid in a white kimono with a top jacket with oval buttons that was also white, as white as it could have been since it was spotted with blood. His hair was bleach blonde, with cold black eyes. He looked straight again, towards another with that looked like him. A girl, in a plain white kimono, and a lily in her hair. She, too, was covered in blood.
"Lets go." The boy turned away from the girl and headed down the road. The girl hesitated, looking back the other way.
"Hakudoshi…" the girl looked uneasy, "is it safe to go so far from 'him'?" The boy, Hakudoshi, turned around to look at her.
"Believe me, Kan-na, we will be fine. Older sister will catch up to us sure enough."
Kan-na turned back one last time. Sighing she also went down the ragged, blood soaked road. Her mirror reflecting nothing at all.
