Metamorphosis

Summary: Seventeen-year-old Zelda Winters lives a structurally precise life with her mother, who decides everything for Zelda without her consent. At times, Zelda feels like her life and future are already out of her reach. Fearful of her mother's wrath, Zelda dreams of breaking free of her mother's stern hold on her life, in order to successfully extend her wings and learn to take flight… But it seems like that will never happen…
Yet, one snowy evening, Zelda happens to stumble upon a young boy in a nearby park named Link. Over the course of time, Link slowly begins to teach Zelda what it's like to live and break free of the cocoon her mother has fashioned for her. With his help, she finally summons the courage to step forward and take that first leap to fly forward.
"No one controls your life, but yourself, Zelda, and that's something that you need to remember. You only live once, so why not make the most of it?"
