Summary: Our favorite Ravenclaw student reflects on her house.

Luna sat down in the Great Hall, at the end of her table. Flipping through her upside down Quibbler, she ignored the whispers and mocking she could hear around her. She knew that her housemates (and the rest of Hogwarts) questioned why she was sorted into Ravenclaw. They thought it was absurd that "Loony Lovegood" was sorted into the house known for intelligence; after all, she was insane!

But Luna knew better than to listen to them. She knew that Ravenclaw prized intelligence and creativity, things which Luna new she possessed. The reason Luna differed from her housemates was because of one trait; open-mindedness.

Normally Ravenclaws were rather narrow minded. Focusing on their studies and other things proven in books. They wouldn't think Luna so strange if they would only open their minds to the possibilities. Ravenclaws never wanted to be wrong, because all they had was the claim that they were the smartest. So they stuck to what they could prove and study for and recite in front of the class.

Luna didn't mind being different. She didn't mind being wrong. What did she have to lose, but if she didn't try, she would never know. So maybe she was a different kind of Ravenclaw. She didn't mind.
