The blue hedgehog and plumber readied up as the announcer counted down, "3... 2... 1... GO!" Sonic automatically got the winning curve with his win as he spindashed into Mario. The announcer kept saying every move they did trying to keep up with the fight as it unfolded. Mario sent flaming punches into Sonic's chest, and Sonic was able to recover with a slight kick or spike.
The battle kept going as the two fought for victory of the tournament they were in. They were the final two in the tournament and this is for the win. The battle changed in front everyone's eyes when Sonic took out a chaos emerald planning something. When Mario went for a flaming punch to the face of the hedgehog he quickly dodged by kicking the Chaos Emerald into the air, smirking at the plumber, and homing attacked the Chaos Emerald using Chaos Control. He appeared right above Mario spiking the plumber into the ground. Mario quickly recovered kicking Sonic away.
The announcer kept screaming every move. Nobody has ever seen Sonic do this attack, but why did he decide to do that? Was he showing off or was it an actual plan to get ahead of the game. The audience around the two fighters screamed and cheered for both of the fighters. Sonic and Mario both ran at eachother ready for the final punch as the smash ball appeared in front of them. As both of them went for the punch an explosion from the smash ball went off as both of the fighters went flying leaving everyone in awe.
The smash ball was never supposed to be broke by two people at once, or in this case, a hedgehog and person at once. Bright blinding lights were flashing across the stadium as the smash ball got more intense to breaking. Mario and Sonic flung themselves to the ledge pulling themselves up seeing the blinding light making their eyes shrink. A giant explosion went off in the arena sending everyone flying leaving the two fighters as statues as they flew.
The thing about this fight that there are not supposed to be items in the tournament, so where did the Smash Ball come from? Mario's and Sonic's statue landed on different parts of the land making everyone to search for them. They were not found, seems they flew pretty far. Something like that has never happened in smash history. No one has ever made that type of explosion from a smash ball.
