"65 East Quest Ave. This is where Charlie said he would be, and this is where he's going to be." Don said authoritatively.
"I want this place searched top and bottom." The team broke down the door of the large warehouse, and found it empty. Not Just void of people. Completely empty. That's when his phone rang. It was Charlie.
"Charlie, Shaun isn't he-" he began to say, but was interrupted.
"you need to get out of there!" Charlie stammered. "
Why, there's no one in-"
"You don't understand. I've talked to Larry, and he told me that the space-time continuum is going to rip open and devour the warehouse."Charlie was bordering on hysteria.
"Charlie, have you lost your mind? That's impossi-"
"Just, please, get out of-" Charlie was interrupted by tires screeching and car horns"
"Are you alright? are you driving?" Don asked, concerned.
"Look. The government is even convinced. they just couldn't send people to evacuate, or anything! It's going to happen now." Charlie responded, seemingly ignoring Don's question. Then, out of the corner of his eye, Don saw Charlie running into the building.
"Why the hell are you here?! Cody and Bruce are gonna-" he was interrupted by The entire building shaking violently.
"See! Now we're both going to die!" The wall began to crumble, and The floor caved in revealing the wormhole. Strangely, Don's team seemed to be propelled away from the wormhole, as Don and Charlie kept going deeper and deeper until they blacked out.
Charlie's head pounded. Am I Dead? He thought to himself. He struggled to open his eyes, as the pain was nearly too much. He lifted his hand up to his head, but felt something stab him. He cried out in pain. When it became easier for him, he opened his eyes. He found himself in a hospital of sorts. The hospital didn't have modern equipment, perhaps he had traveled in time? He sat up, looking down at his lap, expecting to see the khakis and dress pants he put on that morning. Instead, he saw hooves. "What the hell?" he said aloud. He fell back down the the cot and let out a small groan.
"I think he's awake!" said a feminine voice, somewhat excited. Nurses flooded the scene. Which was odd, since they weren't exactly human. They were horses. Similar to that children's show, My Little Pony. This perplexed Charlie. Then he remembered
"Where am I? And where's my brother?"
"That was your brother?
Charlie nodded.
"Well, he woke up a couple of minutes ago. And you're Equestria Hospital" the nurse unicorn said.
Charlie opened his mouth to speak, but could not find words to say.
"Are you alright? You fell from quite a high distance, and you don't even have wings" Nurse asked.
"Wings?" Charlie asked, but then remembered that some of the ponies from the show had wings. Oops.
"Yeah, wings" The nurse responded, confused.
"Oh, uh, never mind." Charlie gave a weak smile.
The nurse levitated a clipboard and pen. "So, what's your name?"
"M-my name?" Charlie stuttered. He was a genius, but he never had to come up with a name for a My Little Pony, let alone his name.
His mind raced for a good name. It had to be math-related, and had to have a good ring to it.
"Square Root." Charlie finally responded, after what seemed like an infinite amount of time.
"and where you from?" the nurse asked nonchalantly.
This was going to be harder. He knew virtually nothing about the show, provided this even was the show. Charlie panicked in his mind, but tried his best to remain calm on the outside. Thankfully, another pony, this time with armor, hastily entered the room.
"the princess wishes to see you and your brother" he said to charlie, and turned to the nurse. "Is he able to walk yet?" he asked. "She nodded.
