HEY! HI! LONG TIME, NO SEE!

Sorry for the waiting period, I'm trying to get back into the habit of writing this story, and I thought it could use a touch-up. I'm just gonna be rewriting it for a little bit, but pleas continue to read and review. (Please keep the criticism constructive, thanks.)

To my new readers, hello! Welcome to my story! I'm Snowfur 14, but you can call me Snowfur. I'm a cool guy who is a thespian (Actor), and also a writer (obviously), and that's about it! This story is supposed to appear like it's been written by the Hunters, so hopefully it does!

Prologue

The half-moon shone in a cloudless sky, watching over a little pool inside a small hollow. On a ledge alongside the ring of the hollow, five cats padded towards the little pool.

"Jayfeather, do you need any help?" asked the golden tabby she-cat in front, her amber eyes filled with concern.

"No, I can manage, thank you, Mothwing" said the grey tom behind her, annoyed, his ice blue eyes boring into her.

"It's alright, Mothwing, he's managed before, and he will manage tonight." Said a very small tabby tom from the back of the group. His eyes flashed a look of sympathy at her. Jayfeather let out a soft snort.

"Thank you Littlecloud." Said Mothwing, glaring at Jayfeather. They then made it down to the edge of the pool of water. One by one, each bent their necks down to the shiny surface, and lapped up the cold, clear water. Then, Jayfeather laid down on the bare rocks and fell into a deep sleep.

"Jayfeather?" said Willowshine, Mothwing's apprentice. Jayfeather opened his eyes. His vision flooded with color, and he was glad he could now see. He lifted his head. Willowshine was standing above him, looking at him in confusion. "What are you doing in my dream?" her eyes widened, "You didn't die, did you?"

Jayfeather snorted, "Not since four heartbeats ago." He said sarcastically. He stood up. "The question is, what am I doing with you?"

"What do you mean?" said Willowshine.

"Nothing," said Jayfeather hastily.

"Hello?" Jayfeather whipped his head around toward the edge of the clearing, where the sound had come from. Out of the bushes came a cat with mottled bown fur. "What are you two doing in my dream?"

"What do you mean, Kestrelflight? What are you doing in my dream?" siad Willowshine.

"Who's there?" called another voice. On the other side of the clearing came Littlecloud, looking just as confused as the cats already in the clearing. "What are you all doing here? Asked the small tom.

"Welcome, medicine cats of all the clans." Said a voice from the edge of the clearing. Out from the shadows emerged four forms. One was a small sleek black tom, one a golden she-cat with black spots, one was an ginger furred tom, and the last was a large black-and-white tom with a very long tail.

"Firestar? And Leopardstar?" said Jayfeather.

"Nightstar? Is that really you?" meowed Littlecloud.

"Tallstar!" said Kestrelflight, "What's going on?"

"There is a new prophecy." Said all four cats in unison, "Pay close attention. Five, children of three, must save the clans from an evil never even imagined. Like greencough, if left untreated, the clans will fade into the mist."

"What?" meowed Jayfeather, "What do you mean? The clans are at peace!"

"It is absolutely necessary for this to remain a secret else the evil become aware and act before the right time. Find the five, only they may be told!"

Jayfeather had more questions, but before he could ask them, his vision went dark once more.

So?! How was that for a rewrite? (Like really. I actually want to know.) Remember, Fave, follow, and review!
