Hi this is my first story so please no hate. :)
Summary: Everyone knows Cinna the stylist but how much do you really know about him? A little story of Cinna before he was Katniss' stylist just something i have always wanted to put up. Might be a bit OOC i'll try my best!
Katniss pov
I wake up to a knock at my door I see peeta is still sleeping. For a moment I think I imagined it because it is the middle of the night, but sure enough I hear it again. I get up and make my way down the stairs and to the door. Stading their is Haymitch, I open the door and am about to ask why he is here in the middle of the night. But befor I get a chance to say anything he hands me a envelope and leaves. I am confused but look down I open the envelope and start reading the letter inside.
Dear Katniss,
If you are reading this it means a few things. One you won the rebellion two i am no longer with you and three it is the night before your wedding. I am writting this letter because know once you are interviewed I will be killed for helping the rebels. I'm sorry for any pain I have caused you and not being able to help you more. Now the reason I am writting you this letter is because I need to tell you something I have kept from you for to long. When we first met I told you I asked to be asinged to twelve, but I didn't say why. Wellthe truth is I came from twelve and I was actually friends with you father. I always wanted to be a stylits and I did make it obviously. Unfortunately I lost touch with your dad and didn't find out about his death until a month before the reapping thats when I asked for district twelve. When I saw you volenteer for your sister I promised to do anything to help you. I wanted to tell you this for so long but was afraid you would hate me for not doing anything sooner. It pained me so much to have to let you go into the arena. You are just like your father and that was the only thing that kept me sane because I knew that fact would lead you to victory. I am sorry I won't be able to atten your wedding but I know you are and will be happy. I will always watch over you and i'm still betting on you kid. You are like a daughter to me I love you and I don't want you to forget that.
