Hogan was leaning against the barracks wall, watching the fiasco in the compound that the guards had been too afraid to break up just yet. Carter broke away from said fiasco to lean against the wall with Hogan and report.
"Didn't work, Colonel," he said in a nasal voice coming from the bleeding nose he was pinching.
Hogan sighed, feeling resigned. "Try again, Carter. Newkirk's got to come around sometime."
