Dave couldn't believe that JJ was leaving the BAU. He felt as if he was losing everything that he had just found. He knew that he would still see her, but he loved seeing her every day at work as well as at home. He understood why she was leaving but it didn't mean that he wouldn't miss her. Part of him was happy, but yet part of him was sad that she was leaving.

He looked at her and said, "Are you sure you want to do this babe?"

JJ smiled. "Dave, you know I have to do this. It's not like we still won't see each other. I love you Dave and that won't change at all. I may love this job but I won't let it put our son or daughter at risk. You know as well as I do what the Doctor said. He wants me to take it easy and Dave we both know this job is anything but easy. And before you ask, yes I'm sure I don't want to come back after our baby is born. I want to be a stay at home Mom, Dave. This is for the best and you know it just as well as I know it."

Dave nodded and got a glint in his eyes. "So babe when will I see you again?"

JJ shook her head, rolled her eyes and laughed. "Honey you'll see me tonight. I love you David Rossi."

Dave smiled and pulled JJ into his arms and gave her a tender kiss. "I love you too Jennifer Rossi."

JJ smiled at the use of her new last name. She still couldn't believe that she and Dave have been married for eight months now. She laughed as she felt their son or daughter kick. She looked at Dave and saw that he was laughing too. She knew she would miss working for the FBI and she would definitely miss working in the BAU but she'd miss her family more. Although she started smiling again as she remembered that she'd see them frequently. Just because she was leaving the BAU didn't mean she was leaving her family.
