What would of happened if Fiona had married Prince Charming in Shrek 2 and Shrek had gone back with Donkey to the swamp. Fiona unhappily married goes travelling and ends up at the swamp where Shrek lives, she finds him and……………………………….
Bells rang throughout the kingdom of Far Far Away as Princess Fiona and Prince Shrek aka Charming wedding a second time with their friends and families'
Everyone that is except the Bride herself. She has stopped believing that This man she was now the wife of was actually Shrek, he still called himself Shrek but she knew that even if Shrek had gone under some enchantment he would of not changes so much. Even she when she had gone under the enchantment, her voice had not changed her manner had not altered. She wondered as she danced with her new husband what had happened to Shrek, her real husband
Then when had she agreed to remarry him then, simply because she knew that if Shrek had been alive he would of come and seen her. Fiona did not usually give up but she had stopped caring. Let Prince charming pretend to be Shrek, she knew the truth but she did not care
Fionas father looked at her worryingly, he knew he was to blame for this, he had paid that hit man to get rid of Shrek and he had obviously done the job right because Shrek had not returned. But seeing the look of pain on Fiona's face was more than he could bear and more and more he wondered if he should have just left things as they where
Shrek and Donkey now lived back at the swamp and Donkey was concerned for Shrek. He had become a lot more ferocious lately, deliberately seeking people out and scaring them, Donkey knew what was wring if course he missed Fiona but whenever Donkey suggested that he go back and get her, Shrek would cut him off
"She's happier without me, she's got what she's always wanted her Prince Charming
And he would say nothing more
Shrek however was miserable, more so when he heard the news from Puss who went to get news from time to time on what was happening in Far Far away, that Fiona and Charming or as the Newspapers called him, Shrek had remarried, for the benefit of their family and friends. He threw the paper down in frustration not noticing the Picture, which showed Fiona looking very unhappy
Prince Charming on the other hand was very happy he had married Fiona and even if he did have to keep on pretending that he was Shrek, what did it matter now that he was next in line to becoming the King of Far Far away. He knew that Fiona did not like him at all and he suspected that she had figured out that he was not Shrek but that was of no worry for him, they were married now and there was nothing she could do about it. Overall Charming was a very happy man.
