We all think we know what will happen when we die ……but do we really know?
I do because I was, and to some people I should be still. They seek to relieve us of our burden, more like a gift they wish they were blessed with. They use that excuse to exterminate us. We have done no harm to the human race in over 100 years (intentionally). Yes, ok a few of those disappearances where the body was never found were us but those were always done by the rouges that seek to expose us but never themselves.
My name is Valeel Xavour, Val for short. If you haven't guessed that I am a vampire yet, then may you are to dumb to read this. Did you know that Queen Elizabeth I was a vampire? She was a very good friend of mine I was one of her closest maids, and friend, then that B#&! Blake had to go and kill her last year saying she had told a rouge about a place where our leader Jonathan would be. So that they could kill a human nearby so that he wouldn't have an alibi. Well when we went to the meeting place to see if there might be a trap for a human there was none, meaning that there never was one, meaning they were wrong about Liz. I left the next day, well actually the next night, but to us it is day time.
I am still considered part of the V.P.P. (vampires private police) and am called to do my duty to the vampire community the same as always I just work alone and I never contact Jonathan or any of his "minions" as I call them, I was once one of them remember, so it wasn't a really bad insult, and it was mostly aimed at Blake.
I now live in Rockville and I really hate it here but this is the only place close enough to V.P.P. headquarters in Richmond that I can get there fast if needed yet far enough away that they couln't just come and visit saying they were just in the area and wanted to stop by like I knew they would if they had the chance, but I didn't give them that chance. So I win.
