A Letter To The Dead
Dear Freddie,
How're you doing?
The family's doing great, if you wanted to know.
Business is really booming now that the war is over.
I married Angelina Johnson; hope you're not upset.
We had a son. I named him after you.
Every time I look in the mirror, I see your face looking back at me.
Remember how we would pretend to be each other, just to annoy Mum?
You were Gred and I was Forge.
Couldn't really do that after my ear got blown off.
Harry and Ginny got married; so did Ron and Hermione. They all had kids. They're so adorable.
They call me Uncle Georgie — can you believe that?
Me. An uncle. Strange, huh?
Percy got married too, a girl named Audrey. She's sweet; they had three children.
We're all still waiting for Charlie to settle down.
Remember how we would come up with Wizard's Wizarding Wheezes merchandise?
You had all the ideas; I made them into a reality.
Ron and Ginny and Harry and Percy all help out with the store. Hermione and Angelina do the money.
Little Fred II is just like you; he and James Sirius, Harry and Ginny's son, they get into so much mischief at Hogwarts.
Just like we did, eh?
