Woof woof and bark bark's his only response, but it can spread it's messages well, nonetheless.
Back then, it was another boring day at the Nagashima Shrine; people coming and going after visiting the oracles or after donation. Its master was dutifully sweeping the floors of the leaves that day, piling them into neat bunches and disposing them in plastic bags. It was not summer, so not much leaves were available to be swept. And so it's master had finished his work early and brought the canine out for their daily walk, like any other day since he found it desserted as a puppy.
However, on that day, something was wrong.
It was night time, and brief sea breezes can be felt on the mountainside shrine. The canine had been keeping watch every night ever since it knew of the extra time length that appeared. The time period gave it an eerie feeling, so it had decided to keep watch in case anything comes up. When the time came, the realm was bleached in green, life in the city stops, blood stains that were not there prior to the extra hour were then everywhere. The moon where the canine always daydreams in hung in the sky, shining the sickly yellow upon the land like some poisonous gas. Warily, it got up from it's sitting position and took a patrol around the shrine. It stopped, however, when he saw his owner was dreamily standing near the temple gate. It barked to get his attention, but none was given. He walked slowly down the steps, towards the streets, like something possessed. It ran for it's master in panic, trying to stop him from heading towards the streets. But it was too late.
When the temple priest laid his foot in the middle of the road, the Dark Hour disappeared, and his life was diminished by a car that did not notice his presence.
Saddened by his death, the loyal dog continued it's walks every day, alone, in a desperate wish to be able to cling to the kind priest once more. It was in one of these days it met the students outside of their dorm on his daily walk. The teal-haired lady kept on calling it Koro-chan, despite it had not given her the permission to. It's attention, however, was on the boy with the hair the colour of the dark, blue sea. His eyes had a wise and timeless tint to it; one that it's master had, before tragedy struck. But unlike him, this boy did not look unaware at all. Perhaps a little bit too aware of his surroundings.
Perhaps it was then Koromaru decided that it would lend it's help to them one day, if it was needed. It knows all of them possess the powers of their other selves. Of course it does. It's a healthy albino husky, after all.
After a brief glance at the teal-haired girl with it's smart, twinkling eyes, it turned and left them all at the entrance to their dormitory, wagging it's tail left and right, into the evening sight.
