The song used is "Overjoyed" by Bastille.

I don't own anything!

Oh I feel overjoyed
When you listen to my words

He was actually talking to her. She'd gotten him to open up.

I see them sinking in
Oh I see them crawling underneath your skin

He watched, intrigued, as she listened to his words.

Words are all we have
We'll be talking
We'll be talking

All they had right now was this, each other, their memories.

These words are all we have
We'll be talking

The words were replaced by screams, the moment was gone.

And I hear you calling in the dead of night

No way in hell was he letting her get away with dying.

And I hear you calling in the dead of night

She would've died right then and there for him.

You lean towards despair
Any given opportunity you're there

The threat was gone, but he was far too upset with her to speak.

But what is there to gain?
When you're always falling off the fence that way.

She protested, claiming she was dead weight. He stopped and turned around.

"Beth Greene, don't you ever say that you're dead weight."

"Daryl… you need to leave me here." He growled and turned his back, took a few steps forward. She blinked as a tear fell. He turned back around and smashed his lips on hers, igniting a fire inside of her burning down her spine and rushing back up to her brain.

"You're weight, but you ain't dead weight. You're my anchor. I'm not gon' leave you, and I sure as hell ain't lettin' you be a martyr for me." She heard what he was saying but didn't thoroughly process it, she was still dealing with the burning she felt inside. He wiped the left over tears off of her face. "Let's go, Beth." He turned around and started walking away. She grabbed his hand. He turned to face her.

"Let's go, Daryl." She said. He nodded with a grunt.
