As Hotsuma sat in the waiting room waiting for the doctor to finish checking on Shusei's condition he frowned. There wasn't anything he could do, there wasn't anything anyone could do for him now. " …..Goddammit….!" The blond howled standing up pacing back and forth. What was taking the damn physician so long? He needed to get back in there. After what felt like hours a nurse emerged an almost pained expression crossed her face having to deliver the bad news.
He didn't waist much time after that. Being told this was quite possibly the last time he'd see his best friend alive cause the male to move quicker then usual. He'd stay all night if he had to Shusei meant that much to him. They'd been friends forever, Shu was the only person he'd ever truly trusted and now… He was about to lose him too. His family didn't care about him only Shusei. Looking around the room he was filled with sorrow again. How could Shusei be trapped he it'd been almost a month and still… For a while there Hotuma thought he was getting better, he'd been up reading and walking around how was it that suddenly he was dying again. The treatments failed they said. It was his only hope…
Sitting on the edge of the bed he took the brunet's hand in his own.
"So this is it huh… You're finally leaving me too…" It was meant as a joke but he was taking it hard. This wasn't Shusei's fault… It wasn't anyone's fault really but he couldn't help but be angry. The one person who he'd swore to protect and he was wasting away. Shusei was the only person who didn't believe he was a monster. He knew he'd fallen for his best friend a long time ago, this was just the icing on the cake knowing that he'd be gone.
"Yyou… You promised…" He cried leaning over the still figure, the brunet was resting, even so he knew this was more then likely the end. Tears leaked from his eyes as he buried his face in the males chest. "You… Promised you wouldn't leave…"
"S-….Shusei…!" Tears rolled down his face freely he didn't care who saw him now. He didn't know what to say… If Shu died tonight he wanted him to know how he felt. The yelling seemed to jolt the brunet awake… Good he could tell him then. "….!" Looking down at his partner the blond sat down beside him. "Idiot… You're not allowed to leave me.. You have to fight, be strong I can't do it without you… I-I love…" He couldn't finish the words as he curled up on the bed with him. Holding the fragile boy close he sighed trying to calm down. "Please… Stay with me… I don't want to be alone anymore."
