In my dream we said good-bye with tears and sobs

And left the graduation My dream than flew to the future And became a nightmare My dream nightmare had flown to high school graduation I was graduating from one place You from another

My nightmare flew again This time to around our college years We passed each other in the mall We looked at each other You said, "I recognize you" And I said, "Me, too." We shrugged our shoulders and walked away

This is the end of my nightmare I don't want this to become reality I have my hopes it won't Hopes Trust that what is wanted will happen That's what hopes are.
