Ok, this is my lame-o attempt at the prelude. I'm sorry that I couldn't post this earlier, since school started and I had to do a balancing act, so uhhh….yeah. Sorry for rambling.

Crazy wise old men who sit on a rock lecturing you all day somehow shape your future. Shun's grandfather happened to be one of those guys. The old dude figured that Shun should go to the mountains to get better at being a ninja. Here he was. The trees were so tall that the eagles would swoop down to grasp fish in their mighty talons and disappear high beyond the world. The grandiose mountains would boast proudly, daring any creature to move it or to make us lowly humans stand and marvel at its beauty…its mystery. That beauty is one that our protagonist has yet to comprehend. Oh, there he is. Shun was practicing his skills by leaping from one branch to the next, like that geezer who sits on a rock, would have wanted him to. It was almost impossible for him not to marvel, even for 5 minutes at the nature surrounding him. The sun was beginning to rest behind the horizon, as Shun looked for a steady branch to spend the night. He leaped towards the branch closest to him to get to a deformed tree that was quite ugly compared to the others, but perfect for this ninja. Suddenly, a vortex appeared and swallowed Shun. It was a grayish-blue with time itself swirling vortexes give you an adventure. As he was being sucked in, a young eagle fell out of its nest and cried a long painful note as it fell, prey for others or food for the maggots. It was the song of a younger world.
