Prologue
Bella Swan was walking along the beach at 11 p.m, feeling the freezing rain dribbling down her long brunette hair. She could also feel the
strong wind coming off the roaring waves of the angry ocean. She knew he was out there , and she knew she would find him. He was the
most gorgeous thing she had ever layed eyes on and just couldn't get him off her mind , not even for a second.
After walking for 50 minutes she had already grown weary and she was ready to go home and get some rest. She would return tommorow and
look for him again . She would never give in.. no matter what. The night's went by as fast as weekends do , Until one night when she decided
to go to his old house. When she arrived in her old orange truck she went in through the front door that was suprisngly unlocked. Nothing was
diffrent , it was the same as it was four months ago. The beautiful glass house in which she had spent so many nights in , nothing was missing
execpt Edward and his family. She walked briskly up the stairs, nearing Edwards room. She moved to open it , but it was locked. She put her
ear up to the door and heard something scrapple up from the floor and hit a wall. She knew he was in there!
"Edward!" she screamed, " please edward! Are you there?" Everything was still and she didn't hear a response. Bella took a bobbypin from
her hair , stuck it in the lock of his door and twisted it. It opened and she ran in frantically only to find a empty sofa and books scattered on the
floor. She knew she was hallucinating and that's when she realized he wasn't coming back. She returned home and walked halfway up the
stairs only to her to voice of her dad "Bells? where did you go?" He asked. "To take a walk, I needed some fresh air", Bella muttered. "Alright
just make sure to brush your teeth", Charlie said. " Dad, I know", Bella said solemly.
Bella returned to her room after brushing her teeth. She layed down and turned off her glowering lamp only to be sheltered in darkness. She
could see a little light from the moon glistening and leaking through her curtains onto the floor. She then closed her eyes and drifted off into
slumber. She awoke maybe 30 minutes later to this cold and gentle touch on her face. As she opened her eyes something blurred through the
room into the corner. She looked up onto her dresser and sure enough in the glistening light was the face of Edward.
