Barry Benson was always being told that he needed to be more. More of a bee, more of a hard worker. But he couldn't do that without a certain something. A certain longing… he could never seem to put his tongue on it. Day to day he was reminded of this absence.

Being with Vanessa everyday was starting to get tiring. She would always be gone during the day, only to return home, eat dinner, and go to sleep. Barry had threatened that her ignorance would eventually lead to him leaving, but she never listened. He'd had enough.

Once Vanessa had gone to sleep that night, Barry got on her computer in secret. He quietly typed in the words "flights to Egypt tomorrow." Ever since he'd heard of how beautiful and scenic this country was, he couldn't help but imagine how wonderful it would be to go. The desert landscape, the heat… it was but a flight away.

He booked the first flight in the morning. His had only slept two hours that night, after swiftly packing his bags. He left Vanessa nothing, no note, no gifts, not even his scent. At five sharp, he was gone.

Upon his arrival in Egypt, Barry noticed how there were many odd characters in it. The majority seemed to surround a large castle in the middle of Cairo, towering over the rest of the buildings. It had a strange, enchanting beauty to it. Each time he passed by, Barry tried to resist the urge to enter this magnificent structure.

It was on his third day in Cairo that he finally gave in to his temptations. The time was nine at night, with the party life keeping the streets busy. Barry went through the gate, completely unnoticed by its overwatching bird. Before he could try to sneak in himself, the door had opened, welcoming him.

Barry slowly went through the castle, making sure he didn't accidentally mess anything up. None of those strange people he kept seeing seemed to be around. Perhaps it was safe to continue to the stairs?

He continued past the stairs, just barely flying above the polished railing. It was then that he noticed a strange door right by the top of the staircase. Did he dare approach this dark, menacing door? Barry decided that since he had gotten this far, he might as well.

Reaching his tiny bee hand to the doorknob, he barely touched the cold metal. The door immediately burst open, revealing a gorgeously decorated yet pitch black bedroom. In the center lie a magnificent canopy bed, fit for a king. It did not take him long until he noticed the large, muscular figure lying on said bed. His crimson eyes stared right through Barry.

"U-uh… Sorry I just kinda wandered in here…" Barry nervously tried to explain why he was there. The man did nothing but continued staring at him.

Barry's nervousness grew amongst the silence, so he tried to break it by being polite, "M-m-my name's Barry. Barry Benson."

The man chuckled. His dark, sinister laugh echoed throughout the halls of the castle. He finally spoke up, "I'm fond of you, Barry… You've seemed to have been drawn to this mansion since the beginning of your expedition. Perhaps it's fate?"

The words shook Barry. This man… his silky voice, his rippling muscles... It made Barry feel something that he had never felt before. Maybe this was the certain thing he has been longing for.

The man did not need to introduce himself. It was suddenly made clear in Barry's head, he did not know when or how. He was speaking to DIO, his lord, his master.
