He held the phone in his hand as tightly as possible the sweat making it slip easily. He started to cry, yet there was no need. This was all a trick, a magic trick yet the overwhelming scare began to hurt him. With shaking hands he stared at John, his figure hard to see yet he knew he could the see the pain in his eyes.

"Goodbye John." Sherlock concluded and threw his phone behind him.

He spread his arms out like an angel and dropped himself off the side of the building with eyes all around watching. Yet below him was no airbag nor any trapdoor. He was falling to his actual death and he was not to know. The people who had failed on the plan began to run to the falling man yet it was too late. A body lay lifeless on the floor.

John began to rush over but others pushed him out of the way. His head was not smashed but blood covered his battered body.

People from inside the hospital rushed out to help but they knew much could not be done. Intensive care was where the man stayed, he was not dead but not alive. A deadly beep would fill the room and Sherlock's mind still carried on.

His mind did not know he was dead. He carried on his life not knowing. Because of who he was for years he was kept on a life support machine.

Mycroft used to come in and would just sit in the chair in the corner and whenever he was in the room Sherlock would see him in his dreams. In his life. They encountered battles a many and as one day he was moved from one machine to another he imagined being beat up and nearly left for dead but Mycroft saved him.

As for John, after the fall he couldn't bear to do anything. He would not go to Baker Street but defiantly not to the hospital until the day Sherlock showed signs of life once again. Mycroft called and John rushed to the hospital. However to Sherlock he imagined a dramatic entrance where he saw John for the first time with his new fiancée.

This carried on for about a year until Sherlock's condition had got much worse and the time had come.

Mycroft was the first to leave as he believed sentiment was a chemical defect and he didn't want to get involved in the loss of his baby brother as he knew it would break his heart.

Mrs Hudson was the second to leave and didn't know how she would be able to live with knowing she would never see him sitting in his chair again.

Molly was the third and she was never to know that she mattered.

John was the fourth, he left with tear filled eyes and as he did he saluted and burst down.

Mary was the last. She kissed his head. And whispered 'I'm sorry Sherlock.'

Sherlock imagined getting shot by Mary, he didn't know why she did it but it hurt him so much. The bullet hit him through the heart.

But this was not true, she did not hurt him in anyway because all they had done was make the beep stop.
