How Ianto met the queen
Ianto Jones was pretty excited. why? well, let's just say he was meeting the queen today and Jack told him she would arrive in a minute or 3 from now. So they sat in her office waiting for her majesty to arrive and Ianto was pondering just how the queen would react to Jack who was lounging in the queens chair doodling on a piece of paper. "Jack won't the queen mind that you're in her chair?"
Jack just smirks and makes a little twirl with the chair. "Ianto Ianto Ianto…. The queen will surprise you greatly that's all I'm saying"
Ianto just rolls his eyes and looks at the door which slam open and the queen walks in. the look on her face saying that she didn't accept any shit today.
Elizabeth ll, just looks at the doors and signs, kicking off her high heels and looks at Jack with a broad smile, for god sake Jack I need a freakin' drink" Ianto's jaw drops and he looks wide eyed as the captain starts laughing his ass off "c'mere Liz "the queen smiles and walks towards the leader of' TORCHWOOD who buries her in a bear hug "oh Jack I haven't seen you for weeks what happened?"
"bin busy, lots of weevil's, an employee got pregnant from an alien bite a wedding… Ianto…"
Elizabeth turns to where Jack is looking and she smiles "oh I can see why you like him Jack he's a cute one"
Jack smiles and nods "yep Liz, this is Ianto Jones TORCHWOOD's general support, archivist and tea-boy as Owen calls him and my partner" Elizabeth smiles again and walks to the young man who's still looking shocked at the elderly queen "nice to meet you Ianto" and she holds out her hand . Ianto quickly takes it and shakes gently "it's an honor your royal highness"
The queen chuckles and pats the young Welshman on the arm "just call me Elizabeth or Liz. I get enough her majesty from all the politicians and people, Jack is the only one I can talk to like this…even my own son speaks to me like I'm his boss not his mother."
Ianto blinks and then smiles sweetly at the elderly woman "you know you're a lot like my grann"
Elizabeth smiles warmly and hugs the young Welshman with surprising strength "oh you sweetheart, so you and Jack? Jack you old dog grabbing such a young and nice Welshman for yourself" Jack just chuckles and walks over to the other 2 and hugs Ianto from behind "well don't say you can't blame me I'm quit fond of Ianto, Liz" the queen nods and sits own on her chair looking at both men "so how's torchwood doing? I read that doctor Harper was dead yet I got an e-mail from him just yesterday" Jack shuffles in a nervous way "i… I couldn't let him go Liz, I used alien tech to bring him back to life but he's like a living corps now…. Doesn't even need to drink eat or sleep" Ianto smiles "yet he keeps complaining about not having a wank" the queen blinks and starts laughing "Mr. Jones, I think that if it would've happened to Jack he would actually die for good. He lives on touch and pleasure" Ianto suddenly looks far away and smiles shyly "oh I know who do you think has to help him with that?" he says to the queens delight.
So that was it I know it's a short little piece of nothing but it came to me when watching a Charlotte's church interview with John Barrowman where they talked about the queen. Now I can't stop thinking about it whenever she's on tv.
