"Do you want to know," he starts with a voice so strained from screaming, "what your greatest flaw was?"
It's not like the other can reply, with a yard-length of pretty red string and blood soaked wires holding his lips closed together. The blood and the string are such a bright, bright red; they blend together perfectly.
"It was when," he goes on with a smirk on his face, "I finally thought the world had left me alone, gone along without me. I thought they'd all forgotten, I thought they'd all stop caring, but you came back to me."
He shakes a little, everything pretty boy did wrong running in his head, You came for me through screams of screaming, desert storms, blood and hatred, and I couldn't, you wouldn't let me have my revenge but look at me now—look— you couldn't win, pretty boy, you couldn't, you couldn't love me, could you? No, and

His fingertips shakes, his breath hitches.
"That was your greatest mistake," he assures someone very other than himself, but gets no reply from bound red lips. The other just stares up at him, with an expression not nearly as bitter as it ought to be.
He pulls the string, loose, with pretty blond boy's lips bleeding so much, "Do you understand that?"
No reply.
"Do you understand?"
No reply.
"Do—you—understand?"
The other looks up, "Yes, I understand," the blond boy whispers through such pretty destroyed lips (and the other thinks he's won he's thinks—), "I would make it again and again and again. For you."
His fingertips shakes, his breath hitches.
He decides to shut the pretty mouth up.

(—and cries on all fours, on a hospital floor, with blood dripping off his fingertips.
"Sakura, I'm so sorry. Bring him back. Please, bring him back."
