Even though I love you,
It isn't enough is it?
You make me feel a fool,
You shoot me down,
I ask myself why you can't feel the same way,
You don't love me,
You never loved me,
Why I've fallen for you I don't know,
I don't care about anyone else when it comes down to us,
Because I love you,
It's a shame you can't say
'I love you too.'
It cracks right down the centre,
Both halves fall,
No matter how hard you look for them,
They are needles in a haystack,
Those six words,
So simple…so hurtful,
The three words I wanted,
Hadn't even entered you mind,
You don't know,
You will never know,
But my heart will,
If there ever was an US,
Even if my heart mended,
A hole would remain,
Where those 6 words…
Caused so much pain.
