"Are you sure this is okay, Dean? I'm not sure I should jump right into something like this. I've only recently become human." Castiel was nervous. He wasn't sure this was right. Sure, he'd only just lost his grace but he still had some understanding on what society would accept.

"Don't worry," Dean said trying to calm him. He placed his hand gently on Castiel's nervous arm. "Think of this just as… as an initiation of sorts. You know… To being human."

Castiel pulled away. "It's just… I've never done anything like this before. I mean, I know other people have. But, it just doesn't seem right." Castiel walked across the quiet hotel room to the lone window. Looking out he saw people, couples, friends, lovers – all going about their day. Had they ever done something like this? Do they have… secrets? "But what about Sam?" Castiel asked. "Shouldn't we…"

Dean cut him off. "Sam can't know Cas." Dean walked over to Castiel. As he put his hand on his shoulder, Castiel turned his head. "He can never know. Sam… He…" Dean wasn't sure what to say. Sam was his brother. They had shared so much, probably more than most brothers. They had been to hell and back so many times before. Dean hated keeping this from Sam. But there wasn't any other choice. "Cas, this just isn't something we can tell Sam about. Ever."

"But what if he finds out?" Deep down, Castiel knew Dean was right. What they were doing, what they were going to do, Sam couldn't know.

"Don't you want this?"

He did. Castiel did want this. He had for a while. It was a new experience – a new sensation. As a human, there was just so much for him to finally, truly feel. Castiel knew that no matter how much he fought, no matter how much he resisted, the temptation was just too strong. Castiel closed his eyes and let the word just flow from his mouth. "Yes."

"It's okay, Cas. This will be something you will always remember. This will be the defining moment of your entire existence." There was something about Dean's voice that made Castiel know everything would be okay. No matter how wrong it felt, a part of him knew it was right. "Get ready, Cas. Get ready for the ride of your life." Castiel walked over to the bed. This was it. There was no turning back. He grabbed his trench coat and put it on. Dean smiled. "Get ready for the tallest roller and most exciting roller coaster on the entire East Coast! The Kingda Ka at Six Flags, New Jersey!" Dean grabbed his jacket and the two were out the door.

Dean told Castiel how much of a drag Sam was at amusement parks – that the only way they'd enjoy themselves was to leave him behind. Castiel did want to enjoy himself, but hated keeping things from Sam. But two seconds after they got off the coaster, Sam was the farthest thing from Castiel's mind. Dean was right – the thrill, the excitement, the forbiddance – this truly was a defining moment in Castiel's new, human life.
