HE'S A SHE
"Oh Mavis! "
Lisanna was scrolling down the mouse in a rather alarming way,
"What is it Lis?"
asked the celestial spirit mage approaching the computer of her albino friend,
"Read here Lucy! I've found fanfictions about us"
her friend seemed really bewildered and soon she understood the reason,
"But... who wrote these things?!"
"I've no idea, they are all over the net!"
Lisanna and Lucy had just discovered that they had haters.
"By the way, I do not think you're fat or a show-off!"
Exclaimed the youngest of the Strauss' family,
"And I do not think your magic is useless or that you meditate to get me expelled from Fairy Tail!"
immediately replied Lucy.
Both girls stared at each other for a while and then laughed, almost crying for the absurdity of that situation.
"But who had written these stories made us look like diabolic witches. Lu-chan what can we do?"
"I have an idea, we could..."
That evening Fairy Tail celebrated the official engagement of Evergreen and Elfman.
Mira occasionally pulled out of the pocket the drawing of a beautiful child made by Reedus to reassure her that her future
nephew or niece wasn't going to be the monster that she thought.
The Raijinshuu drank and congratulated to the pair, and the rest of the guild celebrated the couple.
"Mirajane, your sister is missing."
"Oh she'll be coming..."
The barmaid said absent mindedly, moving away from the counter to fill a mug of beer,
but after a few seconds she came back,
"Laxus, how come you noticed my little sister's absence?"
"Well... it was just..." he stammered, Mira had caught him off-guard,
with a perfect timing Bixlow butted in the conversation saving him from the she-devil,
"Also the cosplayer is missing! Isn't it babies?" his small totems fluttered in the air repeating his words: " Cosplayer!" " Missing" "Missing" "Cosplayer".
And then the doors of Fairy Tail opened and silence fell on the guild:
Lucy entered hand in hand with a mysterious guy in a fitting black and white striped tuxedo and a bowler covering his face.
They attracted the attention of every Fairy Tail member, both beautiful and misterious, Lucy playfully uncovered his
partener's identity taking the hat off:
it was Lisanna in a man's suit!
The girls laughed enjoying the applause, until Gajeel demanded attention with his guitar.
"Mira-nee bring us something!"
With a mournful face the bartender handed them two drinks,
"Mira-nee what's wrong?" her sister shook her head disheartened,
"You got another bad nightmare about Elf-nii's son?"
"... no"
"Don't be sad, you know that Reedus is a very talented artist, Elf-nii's baby will be beautiful!"
"No not him... you L-Lisanna you do not ... not l-like..."
"Huh?"
"You're not... y-you like w-wo..."
she just couldn't say those words,
"Oh! No, no Mira-nee I like boys, not girls!"
"Not even one bit? "
"Of course not! I like boys. Big boys like...uhm... like Laxus!"
"Laxus huh?" mumbled the barmaid interested and relieved,
"Mira-nee don't look at me with that mischievous smile! I could've said Bixlow or Loke... "
"But you said La.."
"Listen. Lucy and I put on this show as a sign of protest"
The named girl stopped drinking and joined the Strauss sisters,
"Definitely yes! Surfing the web we have found out that people think we hate each other!"
said the blonde fervently,
"There are terrible fanfictions, ft's fandom hates me!" Lisanna added "In a story I even kill Lucy!"
"In another you poisoned me and kick me out of Fairy Tail and then I became superduper strong! Well I liked that one, I was very powerful... by the way it's really unintelligible how people can distort our characters. Mashima-sama's description of us is quite different."
"Oh this is so embarrassment" said the younger Strauss hiding her face in her hands "Just because I'm a minor character they made me do the most vicious and absurd things"
"But tonight we will take our revenge, don't we Lis?"
"Well said Lucy! In your face haters!" she said standing up from the bar stool.
Mirajane had long ago stopped paying attention to them, the barmaid was already up to something that included Gray and
Juvia,
"Luigi!"
"Oh Goodness! How many times I gotta tell you, my name is Lucy!"
"Do you want to dance?"
"She can't! Tonight I'm her knight, and I won't lend her to anyone!" Lisanna said with a wink,
Lucy nodded
"Maybe next time Natsu"
"Tonight it's all about girl power"
the two of them went at the centre of the dance floor, leaving a puzzled Natsu alone.
Not too far away
"My little sister is a real man!"
"You idiot! Those two girls are real friends not men!"

This is supposed to be a light-hearted and funny story, I do NOT mean to offend any writer, or pairing, or fanfiction or denigrate same-sex couples!
I frankly dislike the war between the pairings, everyone has their own preferences but I do not see the need to humiliate one or the other pair / one or the other character. I wrote this fic as a protest because I read rather shameful things about Lisanna and Lucy, which are depicted as real monsters. Especially Lisanna is portrayed as the worst possible person, who invents the meanest tricks to get rid of Lucy. I find these readings unpleasant, childish and rather stupid.
They are both sweet girls.
This is just an outlet of mine, I think Lisanna and Lucy can be good friends, since they have both a sunny, sweet and open disposition. Mashima himself wrote that Lisanna, returned from Edolas, immediately made herself comfortable in the new Fairy Tail due to her sociable nature.
