"You can try and forget it, or you can learn to live with it."
That was the advice that Grace received from Jane, but he left the final decision up to her. She knew the right choice was to try and live with it, to learn from it. After all, instead of being a symbol of her guilt, the necklace should be a reminder of the costs of growing up, the lessons she had learned, and how to keep going.
Instead, it was a combination of the two – a glistening reminder to never again fall for such an obvious trap.
