I have always known that I was different than most people but I never know just how different I was till I met Sookie Stackhouse. Sookie is like me she can read people's minds too. Telekinesis is what I believe it is called I call reading other people's mind a curse. To always know what other people are thinking is like living in hell I just hate it. I tried going on a date with the prom Queen and found out the only reason she agreed was she wanted sex I was so mad like a bat out of hell (that happened in 6th grade). After that was pry about the time people started avoiding me and calling me a sicko because she totally denied the wanting sex. I moved after that and drifted from here to there always in a different school each month not all my fault my mom moved around a lot so I had to go to. My mom was named Carrie just like the girl in the horror movie and also had very religious relatives so everyone teased and picked on her. Folks in our home town said my ability was because of my name Damon they says it is to close to demon so therefore I became one.

I met Sookie when I was 17. I had just run away from the foster home the government had arranged for me to stay at because my mother had just been murdered the week before. I had to leave I didn't feel safe there so I just left. I also felt drawn to the small town of Bon Temps in the rural part of Louisiana. Once I got there I was further drawn to Merlotte's a bar on the outskirts of town. Once inside I found Sookie, it was like I was being pulled by an invisible string. As soon as I was in front of Sookie I reached out and torched her face and suddenly know everything important about her and I knew she knew the same because as soon as I said her name she said mine back to me.

"Sookie" I whispered as I touched her face and neck. "Damon" is what she responded with. I kissed her deeply then and was engulfed be the utter silent and harmony of Sookie's thoughts or the lack of them. I did not care that everyone was looking at us, nor did I care what they were thinking cause for once I couldn't hear them.
