Link had been traversing the Water Temple to awaken the Sage of Water. The temple had been testing his patience. There were many annoying enemies and puzzles. He'd used every single one of his bottles fairies by the time he was halfway through.
"Navi, do you know how much time has passed since I started this infuriating temple?" the green-clad hero asked/whined.
"It's been a few days," the blue fairy replied.
Link groaned. He couldn't take anymore. At this point, he should give up. But, the thought of Zelda motivated him again, and he took off without another word.
After a few more puzzles and raising and lowering the water level, the key to the final room was found.
"YES! I'M ALMOST DONE WITH THIS PLACE!" he shouted, then tucked the key in his pouch.
The hero found his way to the final locked door, used the key, and went inside.
In Ganon's Tower...
"What can I do?" the Dark Lord said with gritted teeth as he banged the , "I can't kill him now! He's become too strong! I need to send a powerful minion to pull him into the abyss! Unless you can kill him, do not give me information that I already know!"
What had happened earlier was that a moblin told the Gerudo that Link was in the Water Temple and should be killed in there immediately. Ganondorf's patience was running out with this stupid creature.
"I dismiss you. If you dare come back, I shall throw you into the darkest depths of Hell!" the King of Evil threatened.
The moblin hurriedly ran out of Ganondorf's study and went to attend other matters. The Gerudo held his head in his hands as he was trying in vain to think of a way to be rid of Link. Just then, a voice sounded behind him.
"Send me My Lord. I will make sure that my pet gives him the death that he deserves!" a woman said.
"Mizu, are you sure about this? If you fail, you will forfeit your life and much more," Ganondorf warned.
"Oh please! Morpha will know what to do! She can handle that pathetic weakling!" Mizu protested.
"Very well. But remember, if you dare fail me, you will suffer. I can promise you that," the Dark Lord said with a snarl.
The water-like woman disappeared and reappeared in a room with platforms in a pool of water. She dropped an eye into the water, which was Morpha's source of life. A watery tentacle rose from the water, and Mizu smiled with satisfaction.
"Go Morpha. Kill the hero in the most painful way possible!" Mizu demanded, and then faded away.
Back to Link and Navi...
Link walked in, and saw nothing.
"Oh come on! I went through this mess for NOTHING?" the hero bellowed.
"Link! Calm down! Maybe if you look around, you'll find something!" Navi said.
The green-clad hero hopped onto a platform, and observed his surroundings. All of a sudden, water moved behind him, and before Link could turn around, a tentacle made of water grabbed his neck. It raised him high, and slowly tightened its grip.
"N-Navi! H-Help! I can't b-b-breathe!" Link said in a raspy voice as the air leaked out from his lungs.
Unfortunately, Navi couldn't do a thing as she watched the life disappear from the hero's eyes. He then tried in vain to pry the creature off his neck, but he was too weak, and slowly died. Link's body went limp, and Morpha threw the corpse into the spikes, shredding the Hero of Time's body.
A/N: There you go! Sorry for the bad word. I had to use it to make it more dramatic! I won't do that next time! Again, leave any suggestions on how Link should die next! Bye! Thanks again LOZ fan!
