Blaine remembers the first time Cooper had told him he was bad at something - back when he was four and dancing to Hanson - but Cooper had completely forgotten, only to say that Blaine's dancing in their Duran Duran mash-up had lacked a theme.
He also remembers when Cooper appeared in his hospital room back when he was a sophomore - he hadn't known why or how Blaine had gotten in but he had wished for him to get better when he'd popped in.
They hadn't had the best relationship - with an age gap of six years and Cooper off with his Hollywood commercial career - but they'd got on well enough to duet once again - Goyte's new single - and it really felt like Blaine had only just met Cooper.
